The Low Emissions Specialist
A
s global specialists in low emissions we design, develop, manufacture, market and supply sustainable solutions to reduce emissions from on- and off-road engine applications.
We develop intellectual property from original concept to full-scale commercial deployment. In addition to reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, a key greenhouse gas associated with global warming, our innovative solutions significantly reduce four principal harmful emissions formed by the combustion of fossil fuels and biofuels without increasing secondary emissions, such as NO2:
- Particulate matter (PM)
- Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
- Hydrocarbons (HC)
- Carbon monoxide (CO)
Meeting Global Air Quality Standards
Deteriorating air quality and concerns about climate change are driving global regulations for control of harmful combustion emissions. In addition to its health hazards, soot (black carbon) is recognised as a major contributor to climate change, compounding the effects of CO2. Oxides of nitrogen, including NO2, contribute to respiratory illness, smog and ground-level ozone issues, as well as secondary climate change effects.
Complete Emissions Solution
Our principal objective is the worldwide deployment of technologies to reduce the overall emissions from diesel applications and to continue our leadership position in emissions reduction technology. We have successfully established licensing relationships with some of the world’s largest providers of emissions systems to the diesel industry, including Bosch and Tenneco. We continue to develop relationships worldwide with the licensing and distribution of our solutions through partnership with synergistic suppliers in these markets.
Clean Diesel has a range of products that are cost-effective, sustainable and used with proven success in new equipment and retrofit applications which include:
